Home Designer Professional or Home Designer Architectural or Home Designer Suite or Home Designer Interiors or Home Designer Essentials

I have been looking at the Home Designer Trial software but have noticed some of tools are limited. Is there a problem?

The Home Designer Trial versions are designed to let you explore the software's powerful tool set, but they do have a few restrictions to prevent users from producing files that could be used as final production documents or presentation materials.

Specifically, the Trial versions do not allow:

  • Printing

  • Saving

  • Exporting

  • Virtual Tours

If you have questions about any of the restricted tools in the Trial version, there are a number of resources available for you to gain more information:

  • Select Help> Launch Help  from the menu to view the program help.

  • Select Help> View Reference Manual to open the complete Home Designer Reference Manual in electronic format.

  • Contact our Sales department by telephone or by email.

To activate your full version

Note: This process assumes that you are attempting to activate the product with a product key from the same version as the trial. For example, you will not be able to activate the Home Designer Pro trial version using a purchased product key for Home Designer Architectural.

  1. Open the trial version.

  2. From the Welcome dialog you can click the Activate Now! option to activate with a key you have already purchased or click Purchase full version now to go online and purchase a license.

  3. If you are already in a plan with the trial version you can select Help> Activate Full Version from the menu or select Purchase Home Designer to go online and purchase a license.
