When attempting to print a plan, a message similar to the following message displays:
"The selected page size is not supported. Please set the printer page size to ___ inches or smaller."
What does this warning mean, and how can I print to a larger page size?
This error message will appear any time the computer attempts to print to a paper size larger than the maximum size that your Home Designer software will print.
To resolve this issue, you have three different options:
Select File> Print> Print from the menu.
Under the Paper heading, use the Size drop down menu to resize your print job to the print size limitation or smaller.
Once the print job has been resized, then you will be able to print without receiving an error message.
You can upgrade your Home Designer product license to a version that is designed to print to a large format plotter.
With the Chief Architect Professional line of products, available from https://www.chiefarchitect.com/, you can open drawings created in Home Designer and print them to the large format page size of your choice.
