Ordering a Replacement Hardware Lock

I have damaged or lost my USB Hardware Lock device. How do I arrange to replace my broken dongle?


To see if your Home Designer Pro license is eligible to replace a hardware lock, you will need to contact Chief Architect's Home Designer Customer Service department.

Customer Service is generally available Monday-Friday, between the hours of 8:00 AM-4:00 PM Pacific Standard Time. 

Understand that in most cases you will be required to pay a replacement fee for the damaged lock itself, in addition to shipping and handling, and that you will also be required to return the damaged hardware lock.

Additionally, hardware locks are not available for Macintosh Operating Systems. If you wish to use your program on both a Macintosh and a Windows based computer you will need to switch to the software security.
If you are using a discontinued version of the Home Designer Pro software, a replacement lock may not be available, and you should review your upgrade options to the current version of the software.
