The following bonus library update is currently available for Home Designer™ Pro 6 and Suite.
This update will not work for previous versions of Home Edition, 3D Home Architect, or Chief Architect. It is intended only for the current version 6 of Home Designer™ Pro or Suite.
Instructions
- Close Home Designer™
- Click on the download updates link below
- Save the download to a location on the same drive that Home Designer™ is installed on. In most cases this will be the C drive. A good location is your desktop but you can save it anywhere you choose.
- Once the download is saved you will need to execute the file. This is done by finding the file you downloaded and double clicking the icon.
- The update will search your hard drive for the location of your libraries. The libraries are in the subdirectory of the location your software is installed in, a folder called Libraries. When it finds a directory verify that this is the same location you installed the software. This dialog will look similar to the one below.
If this is the location you are installed click Yes. If not click No and it will continue the search.
When you launch Home Designer™ you will now notice the following new library categories in your browser:

-Bonus Electrical - 1 item
-Bonus Exterior Fixtures - 2 items
-Bonus Fixtures - 2 items
-Bonus Furnishings - 11 items
-Bonus Millwork - 2 items
